Paula and Brenden’s wedding felt like a scene from Mamma Mia!—sun-soaked, joyful, and vibrantly beautiful. The August sky was a clear, endless blue, and the air was warm with salt and sea breeze. Seagulls circled above, their cries blending with the steady rhythm of waves.
Paula’s bridesmaids wore shades of yellow that glowed against the deep greens of the coastline, holding bouquets of vibrant hydrangeas, while Brenden’s groomsmen balanced the palette in neutral jackets with touches of blue. Paula’s dress was light and airy, catching the breeze as she walked down the aisle, veil lifting gently in the wind.
For their portraits, we explored the Indian River Life Saving Station Museum—a building steeped in coastal history, with boats, oars, and vintage light bulbs casting a warm glow. The air held the scent of salt and sun-warmed wood, adding a sense of nostalgia to the quiet moments between them. As blue hour fell, we slipped away from the celebration for a while— Paula and Brenden running along the shoreline, spinning and laughing, shoes abandoned in the sand.
After a few moments of quiet and playful escape, Paula and Brenden returned to their party, where they danced the night away with their favorite people, lights twinkling and music spilling out into the summer air. It was a wedding day full of color and sunlight, laughter and sea air.
