Chase, Kali, and Theo

When most people think of family photo sessions, they imagine beaches at sunset, open fields, or lush gardens. While these locations are undeniably beautiful, there’s something incredibly special about capturing your family in the place where life truly happens—your home. Your house is more than just four walls; it’s where first steps are taken, birthdays are celebrated, and ordinary days become lifelong memories. A family session at home allows you to capture these moments in the most authentic way possible, telling a story that is uniquely yours.

I met Kali and Chase at their home, where we spent our unhurried time together documenting their little one, Theo. The afternoon was soft and warm, sunlight filtering through the trees. Taking turns making Theo laugh, Kali and Chase strolled around outside and eventually settled on a blanket in the grass. Inside, we captured quiet moments on the living room sofa—tiny fingers curling around Kali’s hand, Chase’s soft smile as he watched them both.

Choosing your home for a family session is about preserving the everyday moments that, years from now, will tell the story of your family’s life together—warm, real, and full of heart.
