My family sessions are entirely guided by your children—a space where they are free to be themselves, without the pressure of stiff poses or forced smiles. My approach is different from the traditional, structured family portrait session. Instead, we focus on movement, play, and genuine connection, allowing moments to unfold naturally.
Rather than directing every pose, we’ll spend our time together letting your family simply be—laughing, running, exploring, and making memories in a way that feels effortless and true to who you are. Most families choose an activity or an outdoor location where their little ones can roam freely, keeping the session playful and relaxed. Whether it’s a walk through the woods, skipping rocks by the water, or piling onto the couch for story time, we’ll tailor the experience to match your family’s energy, making it feel less like a photoshoot and more like a moment you’ll want to remember forever.
We used this approach for Joanna and her three kiddos, meeting at sunset on a quiet stretch of beach, where the tide hummed against the shore and the sky melted into soft pastels. There was no agenda—just space for them to roam, explore, and exist as they are. The kids chased the seagulls, their laughter carried by the ocean breeze, little footprints trailing behind them in the wet sand. They collected seashells in their tiny hands, racing to show Joanna their treasures, before dashing back toward the rocks to climb. She watched them with the kind of joy only a mother knows, the sky deepening into twilight.
